My 16 year old daughter was in a car accident in a school van while on a school trip. This happened back in May. I was told by the school superintendant that everything would be taken care of. I was just told by the superintendant last week that I would have to turn this in to my insurance. Why wouldn't the schools insurance take care of this?

It should. Ask them to explain in writing?

They tell me that their school van does not have PIP coverage and that I have to turn this into my insurance. This happened back in May and I am just being told this. One mother has been turned over to collections. It was the other driver's fault. Thanks
