ABS FAILED & AIRBAGS FAILED. HELP.

Long story short:

1. NYC: FDR drive, 3 buses took up all three lanes. 1 stops short, I swerve to avoid, middle bus stops short, I swerve to avoid, didnt see passing lane bus, it was stopped, the middle bus blocked my view. Rear-ended the bus at 30 MPH.

2. FDNY & NYPD were all shocked airbags didnt deploy and ABS failed, I skidded all the way. Totaled Chevy Equinox.

3. Whole steering column with dashboard came into car crumbled complete. Hit my chest and ribs. Banged my head, hurt wrists/neck/ribs/knees very nice.

4. Didnt feel anything that moment I got out of car. Went to hospital next day for pains.

5. Called GM made a service request. They called me back stating the dealer has to make a call for suv to get inspected for product liability. RUN AROUND. The suv is 2 years old. It had high miles, who knows where dealer got this chevy. Dealer is very shady.

Have friends in GM, conflict of interest. They are telling me pursue lawsuit. Docter also.

PS: To everyones knowledge from who I talked to...no buses are allowed on the FDR Drive due to some accident a year or two ago...but there was...a total of three.
