Default CAR SHOP LAW SUITE AZ

I took my car nissan 240 to an import car shop to have a brand new engine put in, and also to modify some upgrades on the horse power, this shop had my car for 9 months when they told me that it would be ready in 30 days, on top of that they kept charging me for more and more parts that they was running in too as problems as they where trying to install my motor, well I have every single receipt and invoince with description of parts that I was charge for and that I was not charge for, the total for this came out to 8,9000.00total. when I went to pick my car up 10 months later the car was leaking water, over heating and wasnot running right; I took the car back to them the following day bearly making it to the house and back to the shop and they tryied to see if they could repair the damage that was never fix right in the first place, the car stayed for another 2 months, they call and said that the car was ready, I picked up the car again and as soon as I hit the corner not even 5 miles the car overheated, eventually blowing a piston. the shop told me that I need to pay another 500.00 to replace the piston and to still try to figure why they have not repair my car as I payed over 8900.00 for a running car. I took the car home and told them that they need to get my vehicle fix, I was not going to pay another dime, they refuse to talk to me, they refuse to let me talk to the owner because the owner is actually from California and he has shops in different states. I demanded my money back and they refuse to talk to me. I ended up towing my vehicle to another import shop to have everything taking out and re done for another 7,000.00. as they where taking all the parts out they found that the parts that I was charged for where not the same quality that was install in the vehicle, they found out that the motor was not install correctly which cause the other problems that they charge me for. at this point I have all the invoices for parts and labor from the bad import shop and all the invoices from the 2nd import shop that I had to take it too. what kind of lawyer can I get for this type of case?? I know is a lot of money for small claims court, but this shop is still in practice and they have other customers that where there also with the same issue, but this shop is not taking any responsibility and the owner thinks that he cannot be touch.

You should probably talk to an attorney specializing in consumer protection. And just because the owner of the shop lives in California does not mean you can't sue him in Arizona where these things happened.
