Confused suspended licence driver

i recently was stupid at work and let a coworker run and get mcdonalds for us all . she ws low on gas so I let her use my car. She drove with the E brake on and said she thought somehin was wrong but never called to ask what it might have been. She did call her friends and told us so. Then she wrecked my car and is now refusing to pay anything and communicating threats at my job which has now been nipped in the bud by my boss but in the mean time still refusing. i found out the next day she had a suspended licence and DID NOT TELL ME THIS.I would have never lent her the car if I'd known.
Everyone keeps telling me to take her to civil court they have a automatic fine paid to me in the sum of 3000 dollars not to mention other fees. Please can you help me I am struggling getting bk n forth to work catching busses and rides. Thank you and God Bless

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against her (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to her behavior

i would remind her that SHE is the one who wrecked your car, and SHE is the one responsible for the damage. she knew she wasnt supposed to be driving anyway. its time for her to grow up, and take responsibilty for her actions.
