Lightbulb Hit and run

I am trying to see if anyone would know an outcome of a situation that I had gotten into. OVer a month ago I was in an accident and the cops were taking a little too long to show up and I had to leave. The person spoke no english that I hit and I left him all my information and i thought he understood that I was leaving. I have a court date in a week and I am trying to see what may happen to me

Default Re: Hit and run

If you gave him all information and you thought he agreed you would leave, the court may dismiss. But generally you do have to wait until the police arrive for any reported accident. So it will be up to the judge.
