At fault insurance co. will not send settlement papers..help!

I was in a serious car accident almost 4 years ago, I have had surgeries, can no longer work an spent thousands out of pocket. My attorney settled for a very very overly reasonable amount on the insurers side about 2 months ago. I was just happy to have it over and to be receiving something that I agreed.

The insurers company has for the las 6 weeks refused to send the settlement paper for me to sign to get my money. I am to the point where I am on the phone with my attorney's office daily

Tehy said there only recourse is to sue them for non-payment....am I paying for all this? I am only getting a few 10,000 as it is and can never work again again...PLEASE>> WHAT DO I DO

The attorney should file a motion for contempt or sue for nonpayment. That should not cost you. He should do it.

--make sure you know what is really going on the case...sounds a bit odd.

Have World Law do a second review and status check if need be.
