Texas, I was in the auto accident in Wyoming while relocating to Alaska from Colorado. I was the passenger. I have had an open PIP claim since the accident 11/19/01, but I never sued or even had an attorney. At one time I searched for an attorney, but I didnt explain the situation properly. Anyways noone would help. I know State Farm would settle with a little heat from an attorney. I have serious permanent injuries that require ongoing medical treatment. I need a serious surgery done now and others in the future. They just make it all so difficult. I was a career woman with a nice life. I have lost everything. Including myself. I have been forced to get on disability and medicare because I couldn't pay for the medical expenses and medications upfront and wait so long for the reimbursements. State Farm has had me see 3 doctors of their choice over the years that have all said the accident is the cause of my medical problems. I know the statue of limitations is up. I still have an open claim, State Farm has accepted liability, and they owe alot to medicaid/medicare from the PIP, etc. There's got to be something. I need to be able to pay off those bills, get a small car to get to all my appointments, and get my daughter and I a small place to live. Try to have a little bit of a life. Please someone help. Where do I go from here?

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you should take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to an injury attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...
