Hit in Hertz
I was driving a Hertz car in the Chicago area and was rear ended by a guy who was having insulin shock and I think was uninsured. The car was undriveable. Police came, took away the other driver in an ambulance and gave me a copy of the report. I notified Hertz and left the car as instructed and went in to fill in an accident report the next day.
1) Do I need to notify my insurance company? 2) Do I have any risk or potential risk? John |

Had you purchased insurance from Hertz? If not yes you should notify your insurer asap.
