Cool Car bump on private propperty court tuesday! please help!

hello, Im Tom from the Uk but struggled to find a fourm like this,

around 6 months ago i reversed into a car which was letting me out as he was doing some work on the house to the side of the track, the track has belonged to our family for over 120 years and as land regestory has only been open for 40 this has never been put into writing just the farm has, as i backed into the gentleman i got out, appolagised and checked out the dammage, crack in numberplate and very small scratch, but he was very aggressive so was his workmates and i felt very intimmadated so i told them it was private propperty and there was no insurence involved just like in a privatly owned carpark, there is no byway, footpath or right of way threw the road. although now they have told the police that i was the aggressive one and that it wasnt on the farm track it was on the public highway. so now im being taken to court for. driving without due care or attention, failing to stop ( even tho in the other chaps statement he said i told him it was private propperty and no insurence etc) and failing to provide my details when nessasary.

the council and land regestery have no recolection of the land and we do not have any paper documents showing we own it. only known threw the old locals, owner of the house next door and the other farmers and has never been questioned.

i have lost my liecence if i get convicted although is a joke! any comments or suggestions will be great thankyou.

Tom

Some private title company must be able to pull together records that can demonstrate your point. And/or you can provide witnesses to go to court with you explaining what they do know.

you also might ask for an extension to gather your evidence if you have not delayed too much
