Default Swerved around me stopped short in front of me
I have been notified by a policeman that someone filed and accident report against me for minor "scratch" on their bumper after they swerved around me (from behind) on way to red light without signalling both lane changes and stopped short in front of me.

I was close to them but did not bump. When light turned green all cars in front and other lane drove on but he just sat there for a long time (about 15-20 seconds) so I went around.

Now it is reported as a hit skip.

There is no mark on my front bumper.

Can I sue for false claim?
