Lien Holder
I was given a 1989 car by a friend a few years back and at that time I noticed the title said "lienholder" on the face and had the name of the bank. However I was able to register the vehicle but when the title came back it still said "lienholder"
I am now trying to sell the vehicle but the buyer is reluctant to complete the transaction since this info is on the face. How can I get this info off of the title. Obviously this car is paid up if the original owner has the title? Or am I wrong? |

Call the bank--they will file a release of lien if they have been paid.
