Rear ended at 45MHP

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: PA
Here is my Deal I was at a red light ( i had a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee) a full stop with about 10 to 15 cars in front of me the, driver behind me didn't stop no skids marks,I was than pushed into the car in front of me (mind you a 17yrs old driver in a 1992 Buick) I was taken to the hospital where X-rays were taken and all that good stuff,After I got out of the hospital ( i would love to post a picture of my Jeep) I than went to the towing company to see the jeep it is bent in half put the hitch into the gas tank bent the rear axle and driveshaft and the front end took a hit also ,But the only thing that realy saved me from the air bags from not going off was the push bar I had on it,Now for the injuries head and neck pain (head hit the sunvisor and and the metal post that goes up the windshield ) left thight badly hurt with blood looks like rug burn and hip and lower back pain.Oh accident happened 2/09/2009

I was in a rear end collision on 02/09/2009 I never had back problems ever,I even wear a back support when I work,That being said, the doctor sent me for a MRI and there are problems like anterior-superior endplate of L2 small avulsion fracture,and a annular tear in the annulus at L5-S1,But here is my question I have limited tort on my car ins. before I hire a personal injury lawyer do I have a chance at sueing the person that rear ended me or is this a lost case the other ins company already amited fault and totled my SUV without the police report and there are paying my lost wages,but they don't pay them untill I return back to work,and now the mental side of it is how I'm I going to live with only one income (WIFE), In my line for work (mechanic) I need to have my body in great shape,the doctor is sending me to a optho. doctor and possible going for PT,I not looking to gain out of this I just want my life back to the way it was before the accident.
