Confused Settlement Question

I was in a car accident in which the other driver ran a red light and t-boned my car and me. The other driver was 100% at fault I sustained a separated shoulder, bruised ribs and some torn ligaments in my shoulder. My car was totaled and they paid me retail value for the car. I am still being treated for my shoulder. I have seen 3 doctors and am currently going to PT. My health insurance has been paying for all of my medical bills and they will be reimbursed by the other drivers auto insurance. I have had to pay maybe $200 out of pocket so far. My Medical bills counting (ambulance, X-rays, MRI, DR. visits and PT) are probably around $7500 so far. I missed around 17 days of work.
My question is, are my Medical bills a factor in the settlement calculation considering they were all paid for by my medical insurance or not??
