I was involved in a hit and run accident. The police were able to locate the other vehicle and driver because his license plate was left at the scene of the accident. I notified his high risk insurance company to file a claim. His insurance company notified me that they were doing a coverage investigation, and 2 days later said that this claim was not covered under the drivers insurance plan. What are my options? Is the insurance company pulling a fast one and trying to skirt away from paying?

in all probability yes! insurance companies, no matter what they say, are there to make money. as a general practice, they deny claims at the first instance. like most of us, they don't want to loose money.
if your case doesn't turn out well, you must consult with an attorney who can help you. insurance companies retain hordes of lawyers to fight against your claim, its time to have yours. |
