hit and run
I was hit, by a hit and run driver. I got their license plate number and tracked them down. No insurance. I filed in small claims court, since the damage was extensive and they ended up not paying like they said they would. So, I would like to sue them in Traffic court, but since I did not see the driver, they said I can't. But the owner of the vehicle said, as well as her husband, it was their nephew. Can I still take them to Traffic court? Ialready have two police reports on this incident. My insurance policy won't cover the damage. I don't think these people should be able to get away with this. In Chicago, I gues it's Ok to just hit people and take off, according to the law?

You can file against them all and let them slug it out in the court as to who is liable, who was driving, etc.
