Help with bad decision in accident

So I was technically racing a friend of mine, and crashed into a guard rail. Now, I was told that leaving the scene of an accident where no one else was involved was not illegal.

After going home, and being upset, scared, and freaked out by crashing, I got drunk with my neighbors. They convinced me to report my car stolen to get it fixed for free...

Now, as I said, I was drunk and not thinking clearly. It is now 3 days later, and after filing a false police report and a false statement to the insurance, I'm really scared. I know I shouldn't have done it, and while im clear headed I know that it was retarded. Either way I have to pay my deductible, but now I could get in lots of trouble.


What are my legal options at this point? Is there a way for me to rescind my previous statements and change the police report without major issues? Am I just totally screwed, and should hope and pray that they cant place me in the vehicle?
