My friend's car was hit while driving out of her drive way. The person at
fault is now denying fault. When my friend called her insurance to report the accident, she found out she no longer was insured because of cancellation of Automatic Payments, which she was not aware of. Is there anything that can be done to help in order to get the car fixed. No Police report was filed due to no injuries and the small damage to her car. What steps can be taken to make sure the proper party takes responsibility? |

She can sue the other party in small claims if need be.

She can sue the party at fault especially if she has evidence that will support her claim such as persons who witness the incident since she did not file a police report.
