Having had a motor vehicle accident recently, I hit the other car on the rear right hand side, between the wheel arch and boot. No rear damage to his vehicle what so ever. I was trying to avoid hitting him at the door pillar. He was facing N-S I was E-W. He turned right from the middle lane of a three lane road. I was on the inside right lane.
Does not the rule, give way to your right, automatically come into play ??? and what about part 5, division 1 section 45 (3) and section 48 (1) of the Australian Road Rules(4.11.2004)???? Anything else I should know about the rules? or any references I should go to??? |
