Default car collision

Hello, my name is Colleen and I recently gave permission to my friend to drive my car. She told me she had her G however it turns out that she only has her G1. She got into an accident and is claiming that she is not liable to pay for the damages. Is this true? Would I be able to take her to small claims court to get the money I need to fix my car? At the time of the accident I was 16 and she was 18. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance

Default Re: car collision

Yes--take her to small claims. She borrowed the car under false pretenses...
