HI..My son was hit by a car in June 2007. He recieved a broken leg in the
accident. The insureance company has made an offer of $10,000 settlement. I was wondering if I should accept it or what I should do. |

It may be low...two or three times medical costs can often be a very rough guide however,

I would contact a solicitor. As you may be able to get more. You should contact someone who specializes in road traffic accident compensation. It costs nothing ringing them and asking for advice.
The source below is for a company i have found on the net who deal with road traffic accident compensation. Accident Claims Connect / South West Accident Helpline - No Win, No Fee, No Risk Injury Compensation |

do not accept it. your son's leg's worth and functionality is worth more than that.
