HELP!!!! What is a Fair Settlement?

On November 26, 2007 I was involved in a car accicdent (I live in PA).

I was driving home from work at 2:30 am, I was going southbound.

I collided with another vehicle head that was in my lane. The person that I collided with had a blood alchol level twice the legal limit. I was injured it did not require any surgery, but my medical bills came to a a total of $3061.00. Which was paid for by my insurence company. My cart was totaled, I know I am getting a fair value for that.

My question is $2,500 fair compensation for injuries? I am done with therpy, but I am unable to drive long distances, my knee is in pain when the weather is cool, and I cannot walk as long as I used to be able to, also I am unble to drive long disrtances.

I was thinking I should be able to get at least $7,000 to $8,500, from the research I have done.

I hope this get answered soon I told my adjuster I would let him know by Monday.

two or three times medical is often a VERY rough guide

it may help to discuss this with several injury lawyers and see what quotes you get
