Question able to live there

My now ex and I (German) bought land in Florida and it stated in the contract that neither me or him can sell the land without the other´s consent. Due to the divorce I lost my legal allien status. Will I still be able to live in the US and build a house on my part of the land, or will I have to sell my half since I will not be able to move there.

Default Re: able to live there

You will have to have some kind of status, to live there permanently.

The land alone will not suffice.
