LAND TAKEN FROM ME

WE ARE A ELDERY COUPLE THAT LIVE IN OHIO, WE HAVE LAND IN ALBAMA
WE HAD A 45 DAY CONTRACT, NO HONEST MONEY GIVEN TO US, THE BUYER
LAWYER SEND US A LETTER STATING WE DID NOT OWN THE LAND, WE KNEW WE DID, THEY HAD NOT DID ANY TITLE WORK, THEY WAITED 5 MONTS LATER AND SUED ME FOR MY LAND AND GOT IT, PLEASE PLEASE HELP US.

how did that happened...on what basis or grounds?

the contract expired in 45 days,which was feb. 4th 2005,in june june 2005 we recieved a letter from them saying we didn't owe the land, and they were closing thier tittle files on the case, we hired an attorney to go and check because we knew we own the land,this attorney found that we did own the land,and he gave the information to the party that wanted to buy the land, without our permissin or knowledge, with this information they were able to complete thier tittle work,and sued us for breech of contract,we went to court and they ruled against us and forced us to sale are land to them. even though it was 8 months passed the expiration date of the contract, the other side lied and said we stalled until the contract ran out, which was not true and the letter proof it.

Are you going to appeal?

we already did and even went to the supreme court, they refuse to even read, it's just the good old boys sticking together, it's still happening in the world today.
