Quit Claim Deed / Foreclosure
We obtained 5 fourplex buildings by way of Quit Claim Deed. We were not informed that they were in foreclosure. The bank has come out and started changing the locks on the buildings. We have put thousands of dollars into the buildings to make them habitable, and now they are taking them before we can even move tenants in. Can they really do this legally? Is there any thing we can do to fight this?

Since, you mention it was obtained by Quit Claim. I am assuming you didn't go thru a title company or attorney and get title insurance. If you did get title insurance then contact your closing agent as they should have cleared title for your purchase.
