Default mold remediation/disclosure when selling/decrease in property value/Nevada

In the state of Nevada:

1. Do you have to disclose that you have had mold remediation when you are selling your house?

2. Does having mold remediation decrease your homes value?

3. If the damage was caused by a faulty installation of a major appliance, are they liable for future property value decrease due to causing mold in your home?

Please help. Thank you.

Not sure about NV but in some jurisdictions you need to disclose that. It is a material issue.

You may want to ask realtors or local professionals--they surely see the issue every day.

Thumbs Up Re: mold remediation/disclosure when selling/decrease in property value/Nevada

Good smell often indicates good things. It can imply delicious foods, healthy environment and even clean and well-cared clothes. And believe it or not, mold removal can play a very good part on the last of those three mentioned things.

As you might have already known, molds can bring numerous negative effects on the items it had infested. One of those items is your clothing. And the specific ill-effects it can bring to it are stains and musty odor.

Generally, both of laundry mildew's negative effects to clothes are equally destructive and annoying. And though the first one can be seen while other can be smelled, both require intensive mold cleaning to be eliminated.
