Disposition of house by lottery
Is it legal to "sell" a house by holding a lottery type of drawing (i.e. selling 300 chances @$1000 each)? The property is located in Florida. If it is not legal in this state, can such a lottery be held in another state to sell the Florida property?
If so, what state filings, if any, are necessary? |

Normally no unless you have permission from your state gaming authorities. Give them a quick call!
