we have a friend in Tennessee who was double talked by a buyer who is also a realtor. she smoothe talked her into selling her house $25,000 below what she told her was her bottom line. the agent was told it was "AS IS". the agent/buyer wrote it up as they would have to pay for repairs then smoothe talked her into signing. the verbal agreement was not the contract that was presented to the seller. they don't want to be taken advantage of but aren't savy when it comes to real estate. is there any recourse for them as they don't want to sell the property now? the buyer/agent has also held a copy of the contract so they can't see what they'd signed... HELP!!!
