Hello;
My situation is this: I had a letter of approval from my buyer's mortgage company specifically written to purchase my home, and then 20 hrs. before the closing, we got word from her mortgage company that they couldn't give her a loan because they didn't have the signatures. So, she ends up getting her earnest money back, and I end up paying the title company for closing costs. Do I have any recourse? Thanks |

If you had a contract with a penalty clause you can collect the penalty. Otherwise normally no; you took the risk.
