Default Can the HOA lien be contested or disputed like a mechanic's lien?

In Florida, if a HOA files a lien with late fees, interest, and attorney fees equal to about 500% of the unpaid dues, can the lien be contested or disputed like a mechanic's lien by filing a notice requiring the HOA to file suit of foreclosure on the lien, or removing said lien, within some reasonable period of time?
