Confused name change--which do I use on deed?

I bought my house as a single. Now I am married and have changed my last name to my husband's (through Social Security, DMV, etc). We want to add him to the title and mortgage for the house and I need to make a new warranty deed to submit to my county. Basically, what the mortgage company says I am supposed to do is transfer the house from myself ("Grantor") to both of us ("Grantees"). My question is, since my current deed is in my maiden name, do I transfer it from that name or can I use my new married name as the "Grantor"?

You can use your current name and add formerly as Mary Smith eg...and also ask your county clerk or recorder of deeds how they would like it done.
