Default unable to get title insurance because of the pending lawsuit
Someone is suing a bank to prevent the sale of a foreclosure to us. The suit went up to the state supreme court and the person was told that they have no claim to the property. However,We have been unable to get title insurance because of the pending lawsuit. Do we have any legal options to get title insurance or get the suit settled so we can go through with the purchase of the foreclosure?
