Child Support Lien
am wanting to buying a house in Texas from my sister which she recieved USDA assistance(low income housing). The house has a child support lien on it because the father of her three kids has not paid child support for awhile. If the house is bought and the lien is met do the kids recieve this money through their mom at the time of closing or does the state take or hold this money???? Please respond if you are familiar with Texas Family Law!!

Mom should get any past due amounts.
You can call the state child support office to confirm in your specific case. |
