Default home purchase partners % of title fee?

Hello....

I will be buying a home in Texas with a partner. Our "split" is 56/44.
Should we be splitting title fee costs in the same percentage, or in the 50/50 percentage?
Also, can you give me a Web link that might answer other questions regarding partnership and home maintenance, improvements, etc?
Thank you.

Default Re: home purchase partners % of title fee?

That is purely up to you. But a pro rata split would sem reasonable unless one or the other is also adding something else--like time, expertise etc. in a greater amount.
