If you were buying a property and went to a solicitor after buying the property you found out there was a few problems with the sell then also found out your solicitor was related to the seller of the property we bought would this be right and should we have been told that they were related especially if they had the same surnames.

You may report the solicitor to the Law Society. That would seem a clear conflict of interest...
