Real Estate Contract Contingency
One of the contingencies of our contract was financing. The contract was in my name as well as my partners. He was unable to get any financing due to his credit history. The did however qualify me. We were completely dissatisfied with the actions of the gentlemen trying to obtain our financing. He went to the seller to negotiate a deal unauthorized by us and without consulting out real estate agent. Now we no longer want any part of the house or the finance man. The seller agent is no demanding a letter that we cannot get financing. I do not want to lose my earnest money but how do I get a letter form a guy who has done such unauthorized and in such an unorthodox way.

Tell him if he does not give it, you will sue him for the lost deposit.
I assume the letter will be accurate about what you could or could not get. |
