We can no longer afford our home, though it is current right now. The market is way below what we paid for it, so we can't sell it. We are going to let it go into foreclosure, but we are trying to figure out how long before we get a notice to leave after we stop paying? We are in Michigan and I can't figure the laws out. Thanks.

It will be a number of weeks or even monhs usually before you are finally evicted.

I am going through this right now. We stopped making our payments in June 2007. It is now Aug. 2008 and we are still in the house. Our last day to redem the loan is tomorrow, so I expect an eviction any time now. We had Chase Mortgage-they suck!
