Contract broke due to warranty items

I had a contract on my home to close on Dec 1, 2006 and after the inspector presented his report, the seller backed out based on plumbing and electrical problems found. These items (approximately 90% of them) were turned into the builder either formally or orally as warranty items approximately 6 - months prior to engaging in the contract.
