State: Wisconsin

I had a client that I charged a fee for a service $10,000. Later in our
relationship he asked me for a personal loan, $500. Now a year after I
severed the relationship, he is suing me for the $10,000 fee I charged him
claiming it was a loan and he is using the $500 I paid him as proof of
partial repayment of the loan. What do I do?
