im an independant consultant and have worked for more than 1 year exclusively for a company. I was paid on a timesheet submission only (by the request of the company) and now the company are insisting that i retrospectley issue them an invoice to them. My contract stated that i should isse monthly invoices. Do i have to do this? what are the implications for me if i do and what legally do i need to do. Am i obliged to submit something which has no benefit for me and is from what i understand for the adminsitration records of the company. Im refering to UK law.
Hope you can provide some information. |

You dont have to do that retroactively. You had not agreed to that.
But they can request it going forward of course, |
