I'm not sure this is the right category, but here goes:
Years ago, my husband bought a motor home and signed a contract with Bank One. In 2000 my husband died, and I took over the payments. The RV is now trashed. My auto insurance company has refused to pay as the damage is "wear and tear." I had full coverage on it. The loan is still in my husband's name. The RV is not worth the balance on it, $7,000+. Will my credit be affected if I simply stop making the payments? I can't afford to pay for it and I don't believe I can sell it. My name is on the registration. I live in the state of Washington. Thank you for any help. |

Did you sign something with them when you took over payments? How did it get trashed?
Did you use it after the death of your husband? |
