Confused family row over who gets what

Our parents died last March.there was no will made. There is a house left and my brother is living there. My two sisters and i don't want to get the house in our names because mybrother would never agree to sell the house. What we want to do is get the house into our brothers name and make a settlement of twenty thousand for our share, which is a small price to pay, considering the house is worth at least three hundred thousand. We sugested this to him but he will not hear of it,what are our rights.
