I wish to inform you that you can show to bank that you are legal heir of your mother and can thus have bank account in your name and thereby operate whole of bank account. If your mother was having a Will then that amount can be taken from through Will. If there is no will then you will have to obtain court order regarding inheritance.

Were both you and your mother considered Joint Tenants with Right of Survivorship? This type of account allows for the joint owner of the account to assume ownership of any funds in the account upon the death of the other owner(s).

How is your name listed on the account? You AND Mom, or You OR Mom?

Mother left no will or estate. Account is in mother AND I. My siblings are have no interest in the money because it was my mother's and I who owned the account. I have provided the bank with mother's death certificate. Currently account is frozen and I can not access my money.
