worker
I am retired and want to pay someone to help me with misc. work around a house I am building. A person I met wants to work for me. I can pay him $6.00 per hour. I do not have a business. What paperwork do I need? Also what is my liability or responsibility if he hurt himself while he was working for me. Could he sue me? He wants me to pay cash. I am not sure how to go about this. I need someone to work parttime for about 3 months. I just need to know the laws involving this. I live in Indiana. thanks
