How do I register the car

I bought a car from a man for 900 dollars but the car was unregistered in Texas and is from ohio. I have the title but he didn\'t sign it when he gave it to me. How do I register the car.

This sort of thing is fairly common. Unfortunately, it can turn into a real nightmare. My best recommendation is to first check with your local tax assessor-collector's office in your county in Texas. If they are unable to provide you with some guidance, it would also be worth inquiring with the Department of Public Safety. If neither can help, then I am sorry to say your only recourse will be to confer with legal counsel. If you visit the WLD main page, they can give you a referral for a lawyer in your local area.
