Help
I just found out Friday my husband took out $7,000 from my savings which was in my name only, I am in a really bad marriage and was getting ready to move out with my kids and had put savings in my name. My husband from time to time will put his money in his own account and refuse to pay bills etc. (a control thing). Any way he new about savings account but he thought it was in both are names, we also have a joint checking account at the same bank. I called the bank and they said it was the tellers mistake she thought he was on the savings account to, the bank now wants me to sign an affidavet in order to get my money back to press charges on fraud with my husband. The problem is my conscious want let me because he did think he was on the account, I asked him for half the money back and he refused. Now I am left with nothing again. What are my options with the bank? Last edited by backert2002; May 12th, 2009 at 03:42 PM. Reason: spelling |

he needs to give it all back or you should sign ASAP
you cannot have it both ways--let them file charges against him--he will pay it back when that happens |
