My name is John I currently have a car loan. The price for the car was around 11,500. The finance company that made the loan charges 26% on this making it over 26,000 for this car plus a 3,000 dollar at end of contract. Anyways I fell sick the last three months and fell behind in my payments, and have been in contact with VFC Finance to make arrangements. Every time I talk with a representative I get recorded messages from them around 3-4 times a day. Now just recently they have sent me a message that they have tried to contact me several times and failed which is quite untrue, And they also stated in the letter that they will proceed with legal proceedings if the account is not up to date. I have paid close to 16,000 off of this debt for 3 1/2 years without a missed payment, but now since i have missed they can't wait to claim default. Doe's anyone know about being harassed by your loan company, and what you can do

You may want to sell that vehicle and get out of that contract. Those terms are terrible.

But if that does not work you do have to stay current or they can repo.

You could try to sue them for fraud or something similar but would have to show some illegal or unethical behavior.
