Default Company hiring, yet I'm still laid off
My husband has been employed at a company for 3 years, he has been laid off on and off from this company for six months. He was searching online for jobs and found a posting hiring for his position. He was making almost 13 per hour and now their hiring for 15-18 per hour. Is it illegal to have a new person working in his position when he never was fired, just laid off?
