CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT FEES
Is it legal for a Credit Union in Florida, to charge a monthly statement fee for members that can afford the fee?
Currently the Credit Union does not charge any account that has a minimum deposit balance, because if they did it would bring their account below the minimum deposit amount, therefore, would accrue low balance fees. Making their accounts not in good standing. The Credit Union does not charge those that don't have the money to cover the statement fee. Isn't this discriminatory? Only charge fees to those with the money to cover them? |
