I have recently listed my home for sale with a real estate firm. I have been negotiating with a buyer. The buyer and there agent had a meeting with the loan officer that did my mortgage. I am afraid some information may have been disclosed that may affect the selling price. What legal obligations does the loan officer have to me and protecting any information about my business and any personal information he and i might have discussed?

Unrelated financial information is private. You could even sue for damages if indeed you can prove damages.
But you still have to re-sell your house first. |
