Question City office assistant

Texas-I am with a City Parks and Recreation Department and our finance dept is contemplating no longer accepting cash as a form of payment for recreational programs. Is this legal? Can we as a public office refuse a cash tender for payment?

Default Re: City office assistant

You can refuse it yes. Your state attorney general will confirm.
